ICAD #5 and #6

The last couple days I have been experimenting with different ways to get the color on the card.

This was my very first time playing with oil paints. 
I like the texture it gives.

Another cool, rainy day.  I need sunshine!! 

Me and Jenna (my daughter) have been making friendship bracelets.  They're pretty addicting to make.

Finished my first card.  I punched holes on one side and added reinforcements on both sides of the card.  I am keeping all my cards on binder rings.  I also did a little journaling on the back about what has been going on today. (rain, rain, and more rain)  This way I can look through my icad "journal" when the weather is cold in the dead of winter to cheer me up. :)

Uninvited Guests

Working in my flower beds this evening I looked up and this is what I saw...

Anyone who knows me very well, knows I am afraid of birds....these guys looked like they were waiting for something!  YIKES!

On a brighter note...

the whole yard smells soooo good with all the flowers that are starting to bloom.

I'm joining the icad challenge at daisyyellow.  I started the one last summer but wasn't able to do much because of an illness in my family.  I'm looking forward to this challenge....should be lots of fun.

Summer is coming......

I love this time of year.  Flowers are starting to bloom everywhere.
