I've only just realised that we are "allowed" to work on some backgrounds in advance like this - I thought all the index cards had to be worked on from scratch. This will make it much easier on days when I haven't got much time, hoorah :)
Liking your colours especially the pastels. and I don't usually like pastels :) So you must definitely have done something right :)

Thanks. I just grabbed a few colors and squeshed em together. :) I like all color combos.
DeleteLooks like you had fun! Look forward to seeing how your cards pan out :-)
ReplyDeleteToday is when the "real" fun starts. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody's art.
DeleteGreat start.
ReplyDeleteI got a bunch of cards ready in a similar manner - it's always nice to have a good base to work with.
Looking forward to seeing more of your cards.
Warmly,
Nicole
hmmmm...hadn't thought about doing this, great idea. Good start for the 61 cards, and anticipating what they will become!
ReplyDeleteWay to get a great jump start!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't thought of doing this either. I may do it later on in the week. They remind me of a quilt all layed out like that. :) Makes me warm and cozy.

I spy holes in those index cards - will you be binding them together somehow?
ReplyDeleteI'm using binder rings to hold them all together. I am also journaling on the back of my icads so I have a summer-time "journal" I can look back on.
DeleteSeems like we have a great planner gal here :) Can't wait to see the outcome of these ;)
ReplyDelete:) I have a few cards with some left over paint on, for days that I am in a rush.
ReplyDeleteOh these background have a lot of life to them. Looking forward to see how they evolve. xox
